This "Erfrischerling" (refresher) allows the passion fruit to shine entirely on its own: it's tropical, lively, and pleasantly subtly sweet. What defines this variety is its well-roundedness. The natural fruit acid of the 100% passion fruit puree is so finely integrated that nothing tastes sharp or artificial; instead, the flavor is clean and full, without an obtrusive aftertaste. The kombucha is brewed in the Erfrischerling siblings' own small brewery in Southern Germany – batch by batch and far from mass production. You can taste it: a refreshing summer companion that is just as convincing on its own as it is as a sparkling base in a glass with lots of ice.
